Reinstall the latest update (do not wipe/factory reset). Use a different launcher and adjust the mobile data settings (LTE/UMTS). It's a bug that Xiaomi has set the mobile data scanning to the global + Chinese settings.
I don't use mobile data I only use WIFI.. How do I change the LTE/UMTS settings?.
In the 'about phone' setting tap multiple times on 'internal storage' after that it should open a menu in which you can select phone information 1 & 2 & Wifi. Press on phone information 1 and select LTE/UMTS. Do that also for the second phone information.
