As soon as I add a new contact and put the name, it turns me out that the name is too long. So I'm forced to put only the surname or just the name. What can I do?

did u try to save the contact in sim card. that is 1990 method when cloud saving was non-existence. saving in sim card have limited functionality. to have full function of contacts u need to save the contacts in mi cloud or google.
