[Discussion] Speaker heating issue

I notice that the portion where the speaker is gets hot after minutes of playing loud music. (See attached photo)

Speakers this small doesn't generate heat right? Should I be worried?

There is a chip underneath the speaker. That's the the one emitting the heat. The speaker itself will not emit noticiable amount of heat during playback.
Also based on what I see during teardown videos, the speaker's metallic frame were actually used to dissipate the heat of the chip because there's a thermal pad in between the chip and the speaker.
