Cloud storage allows you to upload and backup your Android content, store valuable space on your phone or tablet, on an online source. Here are some of the best cloud storage apps available to back up your Android device.

  • Mi Cloud allows you to back up your pictures, messages, contacts, call logs and more from anywhere. All backup data on Mi Cloud is encrypted from transmission to storage. Also note that your Mi Account need two-step authentication to sign-in, so that you can only access your personal information.

  • MEGA gives you a generous 50 GB just for signing up but also offers a focus on privacy that the others in this list don't shout as loudly about. In short, this means that all your files are encrypted and your device is decrypted, not by the mega server, keep your personal information private Although it does not come with complexity adding bandwidth. If you have more than 50GB of storage available free, you can pay 4 additional TB-space and 8 additional BBB bandwidth per month. If you value your privacy and do not require more than 50 GB, then it's worth checking as a free user.

  • MediaFire offers up to 50 GB of free space, which is a good amount of free storage, but you only get 12 GB to begin and have to earn the rest through things like referrals, if you don't want to hand over any cash. The Android app provides automatic camera backups for photos and videos, and you can also preview documents and listen to audio files in it. It's not perfect, but it's not easy to use or most enjoyable in any way. If you want to spring for 1 TB storage, then currently costs $ 3.75 per month, if you choose an annual subscription or $ 5 per month for a rolling payment plan.

  • This might feel like a bit of a no-brainer for an Android user, but Google Drive offers a range of worthwhile features, as well as being the de-facto cloud storage option available on a new phone. With 15 GB free storage, integrated documents, spreadsheets and presentation platforms and easy-to-manage collaboration settings, it is quite versatile to present a strong argument for most users. Deep integration across Android, as well as with Google and many other third-party applications, Google Drive is a reasonable choice for the average user who does not need to store their entire life in the cloud. Possibly the best part about using Google Drive for storage, Google Photo Storage, which lets you choose to back up full-resolution snapshots to count on unmodified image backups of your reduced resolution or to your overall storage quota.

  • Box is free from the Google Play Store and similar in approach to Dropbox as a proposition. It offers 10 GB of free space with a 250 MB upload limit. Beyond this, you can pay $10 per month for up to 100 GB of cloud storage and a 5GB file upload limit. If that's not enough space, business plans that cost from $5 per user per month offer the ability to add more space but come with the requirement of having a minimum of three users subscribed. Where Box's Android app was once a feature-free affair, it now offers all the options you'd expect to see in a cloud storage app, including offline access to specific files and a particular focus on making it easy for you to collaborate on documents while away from a desktop.

Cloud storage since the very beginning is not secure and is going to get your data spied on by hackers and as we learned even the companies who provided the service to you who told you they'd respect your privacy.

I'd recommend NAS storage. And since we are MIUIers it is amazing to have the world's biggest best AIoT platform at our fingertips just for this purpose. I own a Mi Router HD which has a whopping 1TB storage space. With it you can access your files from anywhere and the best part is that only YOU get to decide who has access. Xiaomi's products have been tested by hackers and they've already stated that Xiaomi takes care to keep you safe. Then thanks to Mi Home you can allow people access, deny people access. You are in control of your own cloud!
