When Xiaomi introduced the Pocophone F1, it came with its own UI, called Poco Launcher. Eventually, the Chinese maker put it on Google Play for everyone to use, and now the beloved interface comes with a 2.0 version.
The beta version of Poco Launcher has received an important update today, so much so that the MIUI development team calls it 2.0. It adds some features and brings several updates. On top of all the adjustments, it brings in an even cleaner look with semi-transparent backgrounds and a few ironed out graphics. Let’s take a closer look.

The changes are mostly about polishing the design and making the experience smoother with the app drawer. Now it can have a semi-transparent background, so you can see your wallpaper even under the white/black/gray layer. The transparency is customizable – that way you can have your precious main image and Dark Mode at the same time.
Poco Launcher 2.0 new features:
The overall design and the UI elements on the Poco Launcher 2.0 do look identical to the first generation Poco Launcher or just the Poco Launcher. According to the video released by MIUI team, the Poco Launcher 2.0 feels smoother and now, there is an option to select a semi-transparent app tray from the settings menu. There are a total of three modes, white, dark, and semi-transparent layer. On selecting the semi-transparent setting (grey) one can partially see the wallpaper in the background of the app tray. The white mode or the standard mode will show white color, whereas, the dark mode will show a black colored background.
Poco Launcher 2.0 also allows users to add and delete app groups like entertainment and social media. Unlike the first gene Poco Launcher, the Poco Launcher 2.0 does support to add new app groups as well.
