aomi launched its first Mi Home store in India on May 11, which is located in the country's IT hub - Bengaluru. The Mi Home is open for the public starting today. Xiaomi India VP cum Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain earlier in the day announced the inauguration of the Mi Home in Phoenix Market City Mall, Bengaluru via a tweet.

Xiaomi's first Mi Home store in India is said to be a one-stop shop for anything and everything that the Chinese company sells in India. Furthermore, as per their roadmap, Xiaomi is reportedly looking forward to opening Mi Home stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai in the upcoming days. Another report states that Xiaomi plans to open as many as 100 Mi Homes in the country in the coming two years, which is by 2019.

In India, Xiaomi's newly inaugurated Mi Home will house products including -- phones -- like Redmi and Mi series, headphones, smart devices like -- air purifiers, fitness bands and VR headsets, power banks and accessories like -- selfie sticks. Furthermore, possibilities are such that the buyer will also be able to get their hands on the recently launched Redmi 4A as well.
Manu Kumar Jain on his twitter handle shares pictures of the inauguration of Mi Home and posts: Our 1st #MiHome is ready..Come visit us at Phoenix Market City mall .. @XiaomiIndia." He also says, "We already have more than 100 Mi Fans standing outside @XiaomiIndia." You can check out the pictures below.

After ruling over online stores, Xiaomi is expecting the same with the offline Mi Home store. At the offline store, Xiaomi phones will be able to personally try out all the Xiaomi devices before making a purchase, which wasn't quite possible with the online stores.

Xiaomi Mi Home store will work in collaboration with the official website -- Mi.com/in online store. With this, the Chinese company will make sure that potential buyers can get their hands on its devices. It is a known fact that Xiaomi's products, due to high demand and limited stock often goes out of stock on online stores, but with the offline Mi Home store that's unlikely to happen. However, just in case a product goes out of stock Xiaomi will reportedly offer buyers an f-code that will guarantee a product on Mi.com/in website even if it is listed as out of stock.

Mi Home and Mi.com/in will further ensure Xiaomi maintains its affordable pricing formula across the board by reducing distribution and intermediary costs associated with traditional brick and mortar (as well as online)storesSource : indiatoday.intoday.in
