if you have root access, you can manually enable camera 2 API by adding persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 in build prop. If your phone supports it.

If your rooted you can just to make sure your running a 64bit phone and 2gb up phone then download the corresponding gcam apk

Hello, most Xiaomi phones do not have camera2api enabled, that's why there are a lot of tutorials on how to enable it.
