Mi Notebook Pro Battery duration of only 4-5 hours - Mi Notebook - Mi Community

Hello,

I´ve been using my Mi Notebook Pro for 3 months now and im satisfied with the devices, the only issue is that my battery doesn´t and never did last as long as seen in reviews (10hours).
Im talking about averge usage of surfing and watching youtube.

I reinstalled windows and installed all drivers that i got recommended of windows, so i think thats the problem i have...

The bios version im running: INSYDE Corp. XMAKB5R0P0805, 12.07.2018

Microsoft Windows 10 Home --- Version 10.0.17763 Build 17763

Same as me, more or less.
With 603 and some patches (https://github.com/Cr0wTom/Mi-Notebook-Pro-Mods) which are available for 805 too and ThrottleStop for undervolting I'm getting from 4 to 8 hours.
Just give a try, maybe 805 patches work nice for you. Just don't install 906, battery is awfull there.

Many (i.e. Chris from techtablets.com) say it's related to the original windows factory image having some improvements and getting better battery life than if you reinstall windows (which I did). Does anyone have the original factory image (possibly as a full back up maybe from a system), That would be greatly appreciated. I only found some Chinese instructions on how to get the original factory version here but they seem complicated because of translation issues: https://www.miui.com/thread-11455594-1-1.html Maybe someone Chinese can help with this?
