Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is now available for purchase in select offline retail stores. The 3Gb/32GB RAM/ROM variant is available for Rs. 11,499 and the 4GB/64GB RAM/ROM variant is priced at Rs. 13,499 which is Rs.500 extra compared to its price on the online marketplace. Redmi Note 4 is available after two months of its launching on online channels and the smartphone has already crossed 1 million sales in India.
Xiaomi has announced the device will available for purchase from March 18 in offline markets in LFRs (Large Format Retailers) across the South region and will be available for pre-order from March 16 to 21 across the North region in Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh with INR 1000 of advance payment.
Xiaomi has partnered with Sangeetha Mobiles, Poorvika Mobiles, Big C Mobiles and LOT mobiles in Southern India and 1500+ small offline stores across Nothern India in Xiaomi's DTR (Direct to Retail) model to reduce the cost drastically by eliminating the various factors in conventional offline retail model such as various distribution, retail channel and small shops.
In an official press release Xiaomi India Offline Sales head, Mr. Vipin Raina said,
"We spent 2016 building strong operations in our offline distribution and paving the way to bring innovation in our offline model. We started this with our direct to retail model, and with the introduction of pre-order, we are extending our innovation to everyone."
