I have a Redmi note 5 AI 6/64 gb variant. After purchasing my device i have unlockd the bootloader and flash global stable rom but i can't relock the bootloader. my previous rom was MIUI 126.96.36.199 China and my current rom is MIUI 188.8.131.52. If i relock the bootloader phone boot into recovery mode and shows "This MIUI version can't be installed on this device". If i unlocked the bootloader again then phone reboot into OS. As per my findings from MIUI 184.108.40.206 bootloader can't be locked after flashing global rom on Chinese device. Its a bug from xiaomi. So my question is|
1. If i flash my device into 220.127.116.11 can i relock my bootloader again and can perform OTA update?
2. I have got an OTA update MIUI 18.104.22.168. If i update my device will it get bricked? If i can update my device via OTA update will it relock my bootloader automatically? Or do I have to flash it manually?
