Hello Mi fans,
This Meet Up was the first ever experience for me, and it was a great one. I visited this beautiful park, got hands-on with the new device, made new friends, and more importantly, had fun! It was a totally unique experience for me. I had never seen or met anyone from the Meet before, yet after a few minutes into the gathering it felt like a family to me. The Moderators were really helpful, and if not, I would've never found the fan gathering in the huge park.
The flower layden grounds, the soft sun, kids playing around, Mi fans socializing, and the beautiful Redmi Note 4 in my palms, the feeling was ecstatic.
The device felt very premium in hand, thanks to the chamfered edges. The display was exceptional, and so was the camera.

Overall, the device is a huge improvement over it's predecessor, the Redmi Note 3. The design elements are far more premium in the new smartphone, and the 2.5D curved glass adds to it's beauty. The UI was lag free for a time duration of about 20 minutes while in my possession, even though is was running the Beta version of Android Nougat. Snapdragon 625 with 14nm FinFET is a plus point. The battery performance is said to have improved by 20-25%, which is exceptionally high! Camera performance is a field where there is a huge improvement with the CMOS technology. The symmetric design of the device is welcome. It creates a balanced image in our eyes, which is appreciated by the Human Brain. The metal body with the chamfered edges is something you'll not get easily in a bugdet-oriented segment. It's a total Bang for your Buck, considering the aggressive pricing. I'm sure the phone will be appreciated by all!
Hat's off to Mi for their newest smartphone!
The Meet was held at Ekamra Kanan Botanical Gardens, a charming venue for a gathering. The youngest fan present was an 8th grader, with some other fans maturing above 30. This sort of diversity proves that Mi has done a great job, as it is hard to get dedication by fans spanning over different generations. My experience with others was amicable, everyone was sharing thoughts with every other person present. The Photowalk was pleasant. Fans were actively participating in it. It was surprising to see two fans who had travelled about 200km from Berhampur for the Meet. We bid them farewell early as they had a train to catch! Kudos to you Kukun Mishra and Omkar Nath. They wanted to start their own Fan Meet Club in Berhampur, Best of Luck guys! As the meet was about to end, Swastik Swaroop announced that F Codes will be given to all Mi fans present. It created a vibe of excitement for those who wanted to buy the Redmi Note 4, including me, who bought the phone minutes after the Code was given to me. After that we all bid adieu as the park closes at 5 P.M. and parted ways. Though this was my first Fan Club Meet, I'm sure it'll not be my last!
This was my Recap of the Sixth Fan Club Meet. Hope you liked it.
